Review by hotel critic
Our recent stay at the hotel was a delightful experience that exceeded our expectations. The thoughtful touches, such as washing up liquid and dishwasher pods, made it feel like a home away from home, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a pint of milk and some bottles of cider waiting for us in the fridge. The reliable Wi-Fi allowed us to stay connected while enjoying our retreat, and the short, scenic walk downhill into town offered a lovely way to explore the area, albeit with a gentle uphill trek on the way back—a feat my 80+ year-old parents managed with ease! The hospitality we received was exceptional, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay. With a blend of comfort and convenience, this hotel truly delivers great value for money, ensuring that our visit was both enjoyable and memorable. I can't recommend it highly enough for anyone looking to relax and recharge while still having access to local attractions.
